How to Get the Bow in The Lost Crown
In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you obtain the Bow by completing the Lost in Mount Qaf mission. Your task involves locating Menolias in the Forest, where you’ll discover his mythical weapon. Here are the steps required to accomplish this goal.
Locate the Hyrcanian Forest
The Hyrcanian Forest is located to the east of the Lower City—and south of Upper City Night. Following the completion of the first two objectives in the initial main quest, you'll receive instructions to proceed to the Hyrcanian Forest. From this point, navigate towards the marked location on the map to reach the area.
Defeat Erlik
On your way to the Menolias’ whereabouts, you’ll encounter a boss fight with Erlik, a mythical creature resembling a warthog. Erlik attacks using its horn, attempting to push you to the sides. Find Menolias in the Forest
Proceed along the path past Erlik to discover Menolias' hideout. Inside the cave, you'll find his Bow resting on the ground, which you will use from this point onward.
How to Use the Bow
The Bow automatically equips upon unlocking. Pressing the Triangle (Y on Xbox/X on Switch) shoots arrows. To aim, hold down the left trigger in the desired direction before pressing the Triangle/ Y / X buttons. If you want to refill your arrows, interact with Arrow Racks scattered around the map.
Menolias’ Bow is an excellent long-range weapon, but it's advisable to preserve it for unlocking blocked paths rather than using it in combat against enemies. Arrows can trigger hidden paths, open locked doors, and create additional platforms, enhancing the parkour elements.
