Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Review

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an excellent Metroidvania and one of the best Prince of Persia games to date.

Breaking Glowing Yellow Walls in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

These glowing, cracked walls will be a common sight throughout Mount Qaf, but Sargon will not be able to do anything about them until later on in the game. The solution to this problem is the Dimensional Claw Time Power, which can be obtained during the main quest, The Path to the Sand Prison.

This will require players to defeat the intimidating Queen of the Forest boss, Kiana, in the Hyrcanian Forest. Once she's down for the count, Sargon will obtain the Dimensional Claw, which allows him to capture an object or enemy that can be thrown in any direction as a weapon or tool.

Breaking Glowing Yellow Walls in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

When finding a glowing yellow wall in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, be sure to look around the area for explosive red barrels, or the purple glowing blobs that explode when you get too close. Capture them using the Dimensional Claw (R1/RB/R), then hold down the same button to aim. Let go and Sargon will unleash the captured object and blow up the wall, opening up new areas to explore on Mount Qaf that can lead to more Time Crystals, Xerxes Coins, and other valuables.

At any given time, players can check if they have already captured an object or enemy using the Dimensional Claw by looking at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. A cube will indicate that there is already an object in hand, but unfortunately, there is no way to tell what exactly that is until it is thrown out again using the power.
