How to Beat Erlik in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

With the bow being an important tool to move forward in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the hike through the Hyrcanian Forest will eventually lead players into the path of the giant boar, Erlik, towards the east. With its big tusks and large frame, the boss can easily cut off half of the arena if you are not careful.

Once the fight begins, there are several attacks to watch out for from Erlik. The first is a charge forward; once Erlik starts to pull back its front legs, prepare to parry the charge to get a window to deal some damage of your own. The boss is also fond of using poisonous projectiles that coat the ground, leaving lingering pools of purple, harmful ooze, so dodge behind Erlik to avoid dealing with all of that and continue the assault.

At its back, the boar will also take the opportunity to kick back using an unblockable attack, so time your dodge to its front properly to outsmart the creature. Another unblockable attack sees Erlik swipe using its tusks, so remember to step back to avoid getting hurt.

Beating Erlik in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

Keep attacking and keeping up with the defensive measures, and with enough Athra energy built up, use those powerful Athra abilities as well to deal increased damage to Erlik.

It won't take too long before the boar is taken down, and players are free to venture deeper into the forest to find more mythical enemies to fight. Be sure to grab those Time Crystals and a new amulet, the Wolf-Bride, which converts a small amount of damage into Athra build-up.
