Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a 2D platformer that is set on Mount Qaf. At first glance, players may think that the game is not big enough, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The Lost Crown has a massive map spanning several biomes.

As players explore the different places, they will find new equipment for Sargon. Most of them can be found by simply navigating around the map, but others need to be bought from the shopkeepers within The Lost Crown. Players will have to find not just Time Crystals but also another currency called Xerxes to buy some of the best items in The Lost Crown.

How To Get Xerxes In The Lost Crown

Xerxes are a much rarer currency than Time Crystals. The latter can simply be acquired by killing enemies. Furthermore, there are other helpful tools that will help players farm more items. But the same can't be said about Xerxes. The Mage only sells one Xerxes coin, and the rest have to be obtained either by exploring the map or completing certain quests.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown How To Get More Xerxes

Most of the time, Xerxes can be found in places that are hard to reach without proper skills. Players have to time their jumps and dashes correctly so that they don't end up falling or hitting prickly thorns. What makes it so difficult to find and collect them is that you have to reach the coins first and then go back and land safely.

If you fall into a pit or hit spikes, you will lose the Xerxes and have to start the process again. Given the fact that it is so difficult to secure Xerxes, it is obviously a resource not to be wasted. So, players have to be careful what they do with them.

What To Do With Xerxes In The Lost Crown

Once players have gathered a few Xerxes, they should go to the Forge and try to upgrade Amulets for Sargon. If you haven't found any good Amulets, save Xerxes till you do. If players have any of the following Amulets: Blessing, Shield of Mithra, Blade Dancer, and Ard's Fortune, they should upgrade them as they are highly beneficial in the long run.

If there is any other Amulet that suits your particular style of play, don't hesitate to upgrade it. Once players are done upgrading their Amulets, they should go to the Scrapper's shop and buy all the items from him. He sells three Amulets and one key.
