Like just about every action game on the market today, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown features a wide range of collectibles for players to locate and use. Whether its tablets that provide a deeper understanding of the game's lore and world-building, powerups that alter or augment Saragon's abilities, or any of the numerous items the game offers, there is hardly a door or corner that doesn't conceal something of use to the player.
While most of the game's items are valuable, there are a few that stand out above the rest. One of the most important item types in The Lost Crown are called Amulets. Each Amulet found in the game has the ability to alter or improve a specific aspect of gameplay. With 37 Amulets in total, this means a considerable amount of customization is possible, depending on which Amulets the player chooses to use at any given moment. This guide will not only help players collect all the Amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, but will also explain how to use and master this incredibly helpful item.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Review
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an excellent Metroidvania and one of the best Prince of Persia games to date.
How to Use Amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Amulets are simple to use in The Lost Crown. At each Wak-Wak Tree that he encounters, Sargon will find the Amulets menu. This simple interface allows Sargon to switch his amulets in and out as he sees fit. Throughout the course of the game, Sargon will come across 37 amulets. They will give him a leg up, especially in The Lost Crown's early moments.
Upgrading and adding more amulet slots are covered at the end of the guide.
Magi Emporium Amulets
One of the first places players will find amulets is in the inventory of the Magi Emporium, a small shop in the Haven section of the Lower City. Though the stock is initially limited, as major events unfold, the inventory will update. This occurs several times throughout the course of The Lost Crown.
This list will include the full inventory of the Magi Emporium, and will explain when each amulet will become available.

How to Upgrade Amulets and Increase Amulet Space
The Lost Crown includes a feature that allows Sargon to improve his collection of Amulets. Once Kaheva's forge is available, simply head into the shop, initiate the talk function, and choose the 'upgrade' option from the Buy menu. Here, all amulets that accept upgrades will be listed. Most Amulets can be upgraded twice, with the first upgrade requiring Time Crystals, and the second upgrade requiring Time Crystals and one Xerxes coin. Upgrading amulets is one of the best ways to improve Sargon's chances against difficult enemies.
Players will notice that each of The Lost Crown's amulets take up a certain amount of space on Sargon's necklace. This is represented by each amulet's Slot Requirements. Every amulet requires between one and three slots. The necklace begins with three open slots, and can be expanded by finding expansion items that increase the available space by a single slot. These items are found in a variety of ways; many are given as rewards for defeating difficult bosses, or completing side-quests. Some are found in treasure chests, while a select few will be available for purchase. Make sure to check a side-quest's rewards to see which offer this item, and check-in with all shops in the game.
