Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set on the mysterious Mount Qaf, which is inhabited by all kinds of dangerous mythological creatures. These creatures pose a danger to Sargon's life, but he must take them down to rescue his friend Prince Ghassan.

If the monsters aren't enough, the mountain is also crawling with dangerous traps. To bypass these obstacles, players need to get ahold of the six Time Powers in The Lost Crown. However, some of the paths require more than just Time Powers to open. So, this particular guide will cover how players can deal with the purple vines in The Lost Crown.

How To Break Purple Vines In The Lost Crown

Players will see purple vines for the first time when they enter the Hyrcanian Forest. While the place is filled with vibrant flora, some of it is extremely dangerous. Players will want to avoid the purple thorns as they quickly bring down Sargon's health.

On their adventure through the forest, players will notice that some of the paths are blocked by purple vines. These vines are tough, and hitting them a couple of times won't budge them.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown: How To Break Purple Vines

In order to break the purple vines in The Lost Crown, players will have to press and hold the Square Button (PlayStation), X Button (Xbox), Y Button (Switch), or Left-Click on the mouse (PC). This is Sargon's charged attack, and it will be sufficient to break the purple vines.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown: How To Break Purple Vines Yellow Doors

After going down the path, players will notice that the purple vines have formed again. But this does not mean that they are locked out of going back. Instead, they need to follow the same procedure of holding the melee attack button on their respective device and releasing it to unleash a devastating attack.

In addition to the purple vines, there are other interesting blockages put in the game by developers. One of them is the yellow wall that is impossible to break with regular sword attacks. To open a path through the yellow walls, players need to acquire the Dimensional Claw. Use this Time Power to store an explosive plant or an object and release it on the wall. This should let players pass through it and continue their expedition.

Another unique type of wall is found within the Catacombs; it looks like a carnivorous plant and will attack if players stay stationary for too long. Dealing with this wall is easy; just spam the melee attack button, and it should be gone.
