Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown may not be like its predecessors, but that does not mean it is not challenging. The Metroidvania-style game puts players in the shoes of Sargon, an Immortal tasked with the rescue of Prince Ghassan.

The adventure takes place on Mount Qaf, a place that is crawling with all kinds of mythical threats.

Before beginning their adventure, players will have to make some important choices, as they will significantly impact the overall gameplay. Aside from picking between Exploration and Guided mode, The Lost Crown players also have to decide between the different difficulties.

All Difficulties In The Lost Crown

After deciding between the two modes, players will be taken to the difficulty settings. On this screen, players will see that there are a total of four difficulties in The Lost Crown. These are:

  • Rookie
  • Warrior
  • Hero
  • Immortal

Rookie is the easiest one, while Immortal is the most difficult. Rookie difficulty is meant for players who don't want to face the challenges in the game. It is solely meant for those who want to enjoy the story with minimal attention to the combat. Warrior is the normal difficulty, and it is made for players who want a bit more challenge.

The Hero difficulty will test players' skills and put even more emphasis on combat. Immortal is the highest and most challenging difficulty in The Lost Crown. In this particular setting, there is absolutely zero room for mistakes in combat, as the enemies will deal a lot more damage, and their health will also be much greater.

Which Is The Best Difficulty In The Lost Crown?

In addition to the four difficulties, Ubisoft has added a custom mode, which is the best difficulty in The Lost Crown. This option can be found below the Immortal difficulty. After pressing the custom option, players will be taken to a different screen where they will get the option to tinker with the game settings.

On this screen, players can adjust the Parry Difficulty, Athra Depletion Rate, Enemy Damage, and Enemy Health, among other things.

So, feel free to customize the setting however you want to. After choosing the best setting for your experience, click on Next to start the game.

Players are advised to start playing on Warrior initially to experience the difficulty, as it will give them a better idea of what to expect when they customize the settings.
