Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Hands-On Preview
Game ZXC's three-and-a-half-hour preview of the upcoming Prince of Persia metroidvania showed fun exploration, tough bosses, and clever puzzles.
What Do You Get for Pre-Ordering Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
By pre-ordering the base game, you get the Warrior Within outfit for Sargon. Unfortunately, that is the only perk of purchasing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown early.
How to Claim Pre-Order Bonuses in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
To get the Warrior Within outfit, redeem your pre-order code when the game is released (on January 18). This will automatically add the skin to your inventory from the get-go. To equip the Warrior Within armor, pause the game, open the Character tab, and press Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox).
What Comes with the Deluxe Edition?
At $59.99, you get the ultimate version of the game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Deluxe Edition. The bundle has four additional perks (five if you pre-order): Early Access, Immortal Outfit, Prosperity Bird Amulet, and the Digital Adventure Guide.
- Immortal is an exclusive battle gear for Sargon.
- Prosperity Bird Amulet is a treasure-revealing gadget. Once summoned, the bird points at the hidden valuables on the map.
- The early-access offer starts on January 15, 2023, and lasts three days.
- The Digital Adventure Guide helps you explore Mountain Qaf, one of the extensive, Persian Empire-inspired areas of the game.
- If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition, you will also receive the Warrior Within outfit.
Which Edition Is the Best?
Looking at the Deluxe Edition’s absence of DLCs, the Standard base game priced at $49.99 remains the more favorable option. But, for Ubisoft+ members, the game’s ultimate edition is available on day one at no extra charge, making it the most cost-effective choice. (Ubisoft’s gaming subscription costs $14.99 per month.)
Can Your PC Run Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
