Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys have just opened the waitlist for their exclusive, limited edition Star Wars Anakin Skywalker Sixth Scale Collectible Figure. Part of Hot Toys' new DX Artisan Edition series, the shockingly realistic Anakin is loaded with stunning detail, right down to wool hair implants that are meant to recreate the look and feel of Anakin's hair in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

The Anakin Skywalker Hot Toys Collectible Is Expertly Created
Hot Toys is known for its high level of expertise when it comes to its quality craftsmanship and detail. Anakin Skywalker is part of a larger Hot Toys Star Wars collection of film-accurate figures and pretty much every favorite character is represented here in sixth scale, some available for pre-order and a couple already released. Anakin has many elaborate features and it's clear that this isn't just any old figure for the shelf, but a valuable collector's piece. The figure features an all-new head sculpt to capture his exact likeness from the film better and it even has moving eyeballs so you can adjust his gaze for his various poses.
He has an expertly created robe and tunic and comes with a lightsaber that even lights up and is rechargeable via USB. Not only that, but the lightsaber has interchangeable blades that can make the weapon look like it's in motion and you also get Count Dooku's lightsaber. Skywalker also has an interchangeable mechno right arm, but that's just the beginning, as there are actually 9 other interchangeable hands in various poses so you can change up his position.
According to the Sideshow site, the Star Wars Anakin Skywalker figure has 30 points of articulation, meaning the positions and stances you can put him in are nearly limitless once you change out the different weapons and hands/arms. Approximately 31cm tall, the product is limited to just one per person, with only 3,000 pieces available worldwide. While no price is listed for the product just now, looking at the other releases in the series shows that they typically range from $220-700.
