Imane "Pokimane’" Anys' Twitch streams are usually upbeat and light-hearted, however, the recent ruling by the United States Supreme Court on Roe v. Wade left the content creator fuming. In fact, the uber-popular Twitch streamer is even thinking about moving out of the country and heading back to Canada.

There have been quite a few reactions in the short time since SCOTUS issued its ruling overturning Roe v. Wade and rescinding decades of legal precedent. Quite a few game developers, including large ones like Ubisoft, have come out in support of the rights that Roe v. Wade granted women around the country. Despite those statements of support and some companies going so far as to say they would pay for travel expenses for women who needed to go to another state in order to receive care, it's clear some are quite fed up with the direction they see the country going.

Count Pokimane as one of those quite angry with what's happening in the United States. She's so angry in fact that in a recent stream she threatened to move out of the country entirely and go back to Canada. While the popular Twitch streamer currently resides in California, she spent her formative years in the "Great White North" after she and her mother immigrated from Morroco when she was about four years old.

Pokimane Says She Wishes She Would Have Started as a Faceless Content Creator

While Pokimane doesn't talk about her political views all that often, there are times when she's made her position very clear. In the recent past, she's taken on the situation with Activision Blizzard and the accusations of a hostile work environment. That time she advocated people not play that company's game. This time around, she's gone so far as to say that she's booked a ticket out of the country.

During a recent appearance, the popular Twitch streamer talked about her disgust over the Roe v. Wade ruling. Pokimane explained that she's tweeted about how angry she is over the situation, and she's faved a few comments from other people. However, she also voiced her frustration with what's going on saying, "It’s just tough, because what more can we even say at this point?” The streamer then added that everything has been said at this point, so she's now contemplating moving out of the country.

The comments from Pokimane do stand out because the Twitch streamer doesn't like talking about personal issues in her broadcasts. She's made it extremely clear over the years that she finds she doesn't like her audience knowing a great deal about her "real" life. However, it appears the Roe v. Wade ruling is important enough to her that she had to speak out about her possible future on Twitch and where her streams might be coming from soon.
