Nintendo and The Pokemon Company first revealed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in February and since then have confirmed the two Legendary Pokemon the games will revolve around. One long-time Pokemon fan has decided to give Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gen 2-inspired makeovers, with Scarlet fittingly featuring Koraidon and Violet highlighting Miraidon.

Reddit user HiraWhitedragon recently shared a gif of their Gen 2 version of the Pokemon Violet title screen after a positive response to their Pokemon Scarlet intro that shares the theming. The Pokemon Company confirmed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Legendary Pokemon in the second trailer for Gen 9 alongside other Pokedex entries like Lechonk, Pawmi, and Smoliv. Although the new Pokemon being introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been untested, many are already being celebrated by the community, including Koraidon and Miraidon through HiraWhitedragon's fan art.

HiraWhitedragon's Pokemon Violet clip shows Miraidon flying through the sky like Rayquaza in the intro to Pokemon Emerald, but it features a city skyline in the background which may be roughly based on a city in the Gen 9 Pokemon titles. The silhouettes of skyscrapers in the background show the heights Miraidon is able to achieve as the Legendary Pokemon of the game while showing the massive scale of the creature reaching the width of about seven of the buildings. Unlike the yellow and green used in HiraWhitedragon's Pokemon Scarlet title screen, the Pokemon Violet one uses much darker colors to contrast the alternative effectively.

It's currently unclear what Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's title screen may look like, but HiraWhitedragon's clip shares the graphical capabilities of the Game Boy Color rather than the Nintendo Switch. With the exception of its head and the tip of its tail including white features, Miraidon in HiraWhitedragon's Pokemon Violet title screen is entirely a silhouette that flies across a blue and purple backdrop below the title of the game. Until the official Pokemon Violet title screen is revealed, it will remain to be seen how similar HiraWhitedragon's Gen 2 duplicate is to the Nintendo Switch counterpart.

Like in the past with some other Pokemon Gen 2 demakes, several Pokemon fans have expressed enthusiasm for HiraWhitedragon's Pokemon Violet title screen. Since HiraWhitedragon initially posted their Pokemon Scarlet intro that centers on Koraidon, many Pokemon fans have anticipated the creation of this Pokemon Violet title screen. Miraidon in the Pokemon Violet title screen shares some likenesses with Lugia in the Pokemon Silver one, while some fans saw similarities between the Pokemon Scarlet screen and Pokemon Gold.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release for Nintendo Switch on November 18.
