Reddit user Achromaticlabrys recently designed two outfits for Mewtwo from Pokemon Unite, with the first being their own rendition of Mewtwo's Martial Arts Style X Holowear and the second being an original maid costume. The new artwork quickly garnered attention from Pokemon fans in the Reddit community, as Mewtwo is rarely ever seen with clothing in Pokemon games. Other fans associate Mewtwo's Martial Arts Style X outfit with Chun-Li from Street Fighter, since the characters' outfits share very similar designs. Moreover, many of the Reddit users in the thread were caught off guard by the maid design for Mewtwo, which has a head accessory with cat ears.

Pokemon Unite Fan Designs Two Outfits for Mewtwo

In Pokemon Unite, players may obtain the Martial Arts Style and Pokebuki outfits for Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y by trading in Aeos Gems at Zirco Trading. A Dark Lord Style outfit was available for a limited time during Pokemon Unite Season 20 as a reward from the Premium Battle Pass. Season 20 ran from December 5, 2023, to January 16, 2024. Currently, players may participate in the new Dragon Carnival event in Pokemon Unite to earn new rewards during Season 23, which ends on June 5.

Nearly three years after its release, Pokemon Unite is still one of the most actively played games in the entire Pokemon franchise. The upcoming 2024 Pokemon World Championships event will feature Pokemon Unite, Pokemon GO, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Pokemon TCG. The annual event will run from August 16 to August 18, as players compete to become the best Pokemon Trainers of 2024.
