Pokemon Unite has just launched the Dragon Carnival event. The Dragon Carnival is a temporary event, so those who want to enjoy the various rewards it delivers should log into Pokemon Unite while it lasts.

Pokemon Unite is a 5v5 MOBA. In addition to the core game mode, Pokemon Unite occasionally features limited-time modes as well. These different Pokemon Unite modes change the dynamics of a match, potentially altering the number of combatants in a regular game or limiting the number of selectable Pokemon.

A new playable character joins Pokemon Unite as the game continues a series of additions that change up the play style for gamers.

In the Dragon Carnival Event, players can experience a new quick mode in Pokemon Unite. Called "Full-Burst Battle! Dragon Dustup Challenge," this mode allows all players to choose 2 out of 6 available dragon-type Pokemon, including Miraidon, who joined Pokemon Unite's roster recently, and jump into a quick 4v4 match. The combat rules remain the same, but the map has some variations, such as the presence of Swablu and Altaria as wild Pokemon and Rayquaza in the middle area. Regidrago will alternate its presence in the top and bottom lanes, and the team that defeats it will gain its temporary aid in the respective lane.

How Long Does The Dragon Carnival Event Last In Pokemon Unite?

  • The event runs from May 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. to June 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.

The Dragon Carnival Event also has special rewards for participants. Players who complete challenges during the event period, running from May 15 to June 11, will collect Dragon Challenge Coins. These coins can be used to acquire rewards such as the Raihan trainer outfit, a Gym Leader from Pokemon Sword and Shield, various backgrounds, and Aeos coins and tickets. The challenges are divided into periods. The first has started already, the second challenge begins on May 22, and the third on May 29.

In addition to the challenges, the Dragon Carnival will feature daily and repeatable missions. Completing missions provides Full-Burst Battle points, which, when accumulated, unlock rewards similar to a traditional battle pass. Common rewards include Aeos tickets and Item Enhancers, while event-only rewards feature stickers, a Rayquaza Face Hat outfit, a Unite License Selection Box, and a Holowear Selection Box. A Dragon Special Shop offers discounts to acquire dragon-type Character Licenses in Pokemon Unite and event-exclusive Holowear.

Pokemon Unite is among the most active games in the Pokemon franchise. The MOBA, alongside games such as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon TCG, and Pokemon GO, will be featured in the 2024 Pokemon World Championships. The championship will occur from August 16 to August 18 to determine this year's top Pokemon Trainers.
