In total, the Pokemon Unite roster features 35 Pokemon in total, ranging from the first generation to Pokemon Sword and Shield.Of the available Pokemon, there appears to be a lack of firepower as only three of the captured monsters have Fire as one of their typings. With the Charizard, Cinderace, and Talonflame as the only Fire-based Pokemon available, the latest Pokemon Unite rumor of a certain flame-wielding Pokemon arriving has come to fruition.RELATED: Pokemon Unite Getting Paid Membership SubscriptionDelphox, the Fire-Psychic Pokemon, is the latest addition to the Pokemon Unite roster. Introduced as a Ranged Attacker, Delphox will hit the Stadium on June 8, and will fight fire with fire while using its Psychic abilities to attack opponents from a distance. While little is known as to what move pool it will contain and what kind of strategies are best suited for Delphox, its utility of both the Fire and Psychic types makes it a versatile Pokemon for new and experienced players. Delphox becomes the third Pokemon with a Psychic typing in the last five additions, following Azumarill and the fan-favourite Eevee evolution Espeon.

Introduced in the sixth generation games Pokemon X and Y, Delphox is the final form evolution of the Fennekin line. After evolving to Braixen, the bipedal, fox-like Pokemon, at level 16, it becomes a Delphox at level 36, gaining the Psychic secondary typing. Delphox became a huge hit in the Pokemon series, both in the anime adaptation and mainline games. Trainers Aria and Serena from the Pokemon animated series had a Braixen in their party when they arrived on the scene and would later have them evolve into Delphox to complete the evolution line. Outside the anime and gaming series, creators who admire the Fire Fox Pokemon have shared their submissions of different variations of Delphox.

Developer TiMi Studio Group has been hard at work providing new content to Pokemon Unite, including new levels, stages, playable modes, and skins for certain Pokemon on the roster. On May 29, Decidueye received a ninja-style skin, drawing many fans into a discussion over how it closely resembled a costume that could be found in Naruto. With how quickly the roster is expanding and including different styles to enjoy the game, it won't be long before Pokemon Unite reaches over 100 million homes worldwide. The Regional Finals of the Pokemon Unite Championship Series are still open for registration, raising the momentum of the game to one of the highest it's been since launch.

Pokemon Unite is available now for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
