A Pokemon fan recently came up with a concept art idea that combined Mimikyu and Togepi. The combination would produce another Ghost/Fairy-type like Mimikyu, missing out on Togekiss' Flying Secondary type. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have introduced a lot of new Pokemon that are versions of old ones with different types. So, it's not farfetched that they may eventually start to combine existing Pokemon. Togepi has been a favorite of Pokemon fans ever since Misty got it and Mimikyu is a popular choice for PvP matches, plus they're both fairies.

Togepi was introduced in generation one and first appeared as an egg in Pokemon: Indigo League in an episode that aired in 2000, "Attack of the Prehistoric Pokemon," when Ash found it in the underground caves filled with Kabutops and Omastar after being buried there by an explosion caused by Team Rocket. While Ash found it, Misty claimed Togepi for her own as Ash still owed her for ruining her bicycle. On the other hand, Mimikyu is a generation seven Pokemon and has appeared in the anime as well. First appearing in an episode from 2017, "Loading the Dex!" Mimikyu avoids capture by Ash and becomes enraged after seeing the Pikachu, choosing to be petty and help Team Rocket instead.

Reddit user rc1246 published their design that looks like an egg with monster feet and a ghostly claw extending from the shadow in the shell. Whether it should be called Togekyu or Mimipi, it looks like a ghost that's possessed an eggshell. Some commenters chimed in that the design of the Pokemon is strikingly similar to Digimon's Digitamamon, another creature whose legs are the only limbs to jut out of its shell, and who also has a ghostly appendage that extends from the interior. The combination of Mimikyu and Togepi suggests a dead Togepi that haunts its former shell and refuses to let its new, less-adorable self be seen. It would be a utilitarian Pokemon with access to moves like Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, and Baton Pass, as well as Play Rough and Shadow Sneak.

Other commenters compared it to the Death Egg from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and more said it's what it would look like if Game Freak made a Pokemon inspired by bad egg glitches. If it were to be included in a game as a reference to the glitch, its lore could fit well within the Pokemon universe as a ghost that haunts the leftover shells of the Pokemon eggs that never hatch.

If the Pokemon gets the disguise ability as well, it could even have a second form where the egg has cracked exposing the ghost inside. It would be funny if, like Mimikyu, it gets enraged whenever it sees a Togepi.
