The Isle of Armor DLC is bringing a lot of exciting Pokemon to the Nintendo Switch game. One of these Pokemon is Zorua, a sneaky dark-type, that can now be found along with its evolution Zoroark on Pokemon Sword and Shield if the player purchases the expansion pass.

The new Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion is bringing new areas to the game for players to explore, like the Wild Area. This new island is introducing new Pokemon that had previously been unobtainable in the Galar region. Zorua, the dark-type popularized by the 13th Pokemon movie Zoroark: Master of Illusions, is one of the new Pokemon to the eighth generation games.

Zorua is a sneaky Pokemon, making it a little harder to find unless a trainer knows where to look. The Tricky Fox Pokemon can only be found in the grass of the Forest of Focus on the Isle of Armor. When a player attempts to catch the Pokemon, they need to make sure that the weather is cloudy, because the fox-like creature will only appear under those conditions. Even with cloudy weather in this area, Zorua are more on the scarce side with a 15 percent change of encountering one. Players may have to wade through the Karrablasts and Venipedes in the grass for a bit before they can catch the dark type they're looking for.

To evolve Zorua into Zoroark is a fairly simple process. Zorua will evolve at level 30 regardless of the situation the Pokemon is in when this occurs. Trainers can just battle in the wild for a bit to add the Illusion Fox Pokemon to their Isle of Armor Pokedex. With the new DLC island available, there are plenty of good spots where players can level up the dark type while also seeing what new Pokemon the island has to offer.

The fifth generation fox is now easy to obtain in Pokemon Sword and Shield without outside influences like Pokemon Home. While Zorua is an iconic Pokemon to bring to the Galar region, there are plenty of other fascinating Pokemon that are now available with the Isle of Armor expansion.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
