Pokemon Sword and Shield players have been able to hunt for their favorite Legendary Pokemon once more thanks to the newly-released Crown Tundra DLC expansion. With there being Legendary Pokemon from every previous Pokemon title, players can have Cosmog from Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon once more.

Cosmog is the same Pokemon on its own, but has some minor tweaks involving its evolution method. It remains a pure Psychic-type that evolves into Cosmoem at level 43. At level 53 it will evolve into Solgaleo in Pokemon Sword and evolve into Lunala in Pokemon Shield.

Unlike many of the other Legendary Pokemon in the Crown Tundra, Cosmog isn't found via Max Lair raids, or even battled at all. Players will be able to easily add this adorable Legendary to their teams after a certain amount of story progress.

During the story of the Crown Tundra, players will reach a point in which they will run either Spectrier or Glastrier out of the town of Freezington. Once players do this, they will be able to get Cosmog.

By travelling deeper into Freezington, players can find a house with an old woman and her Spheal outside of it. The old woman won't lead players to Cosmog by talking to her, but players will need to head inside this house.

Inside, there will be another old woman as well as a Cosmog floating on a wooden crate in the house's kitchen. Talking to Cosmog will cause the old woman inside to reveal that she found the Legendary Psychic-type Pokemon freezing outside of the village, took it in, and named the Cosmog Fwoofy. Because the player helped defend the village and proved themselves to be a dependable trainer, the old woman will trust Fwoofy with the player.

This Cosmog will be level 5, meaning that it will take a lot of time for players to level it up to level 43 in order to evolve it into Cosmoem. Then it will take ten more levels in order to become either Solgaleo or Lunala.

Solgaleo is a dual Psychic and Steel-type Pokemon with Full Metal Body for its ability, which ability prevents the moves or abilities of other Pokemon from lowering Solgaleo's stats. Meanwhile, Lunala is a dual Psychic and Ghost-type Pokemon with Shadow Shield as its ability, which reduces the amount of damage Lunala takes while it has full HP.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available now on Nintendo Switch.
