The Pokemon fan artist who has been making humanoid versions of the pocket creatures recently posted their latest project online, this time featuring Slugma and Magcargo. Pokemon community members who are long-time fans of both Slugma and Magcargo will likely be excited to see just how the artist has translated each of the Pokemon's looks into humanistic features.

Though most of the fan art produced by the community has recently been focused on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Paradox forms, some artists occasionally post designs inspired by other things. Turning Pokemon into human beings is something a lot of creative community members have been doing over the years, but none seem to be as dedicated as this particular artist. Already finished with their 218th and 219th pocket creatures from the universal Pokedex, the artist's humanoid versions of Slugma and Magcargo are as detailed as the other works in the ongoing project.

On Reddit, user endifi posted images of the humanoid Pokemon fan art they created of Slugma and Magcargo. Their human iteration of the Fire-type Slugma comes in a seemingly male form decked out in a vibrant red-orange formal suit. The artist used Slugma's head flames to represent the character's hair, while the Pokemon's lava flowed down as the outfit's tailcoat. For the dual Fire/Rock-type Magcargo, the artist chose to depict a female in a beautiful Japanese kimono, with the Pokemon's fiery shell represented as an adornment to the outfit's belt or obi.

The artist also gave titles to their creations, naming them Volcaron the Slugma and Maggigo the Magcargo. One of the commenters shared that endifi's humanized version of Slugma reminded them of Dinraal, one of the dragons in Tears of the Kingdom. This is likely due to the dragon's glowing molten horns, which can be similar to Volcaron's flaming red hair. One commented that Volcaron also looked like a game show host, while Maggigo seemed to have been caught smoking. Nevertheless, people complimented endifi's work, likely expecting the same quality as the other pieces they have produced in the past.

If endifi is faithfully following the Pokedex religiously, fans should expect that their next art pieces will likely feature the Ice/Ground-type Pokemon Swinub and its evolutionary line. Given that these Pokemon have very different elements from Slugma and Magcargo, they will probably have completely different aesthetic features from each other. Hopefully endifi will continue to be generous to the Pokemon community and will share their latest projects on Reddit once they are ready for viewing.
