Pokemon GO rolled out its new Summer event, and it's currently in full swing. While hunting for Pokemon like Mienfoo, players can enjoy the sunshine with their phones and find the newest Pokemon released during the event.
As with other events, not only are new Pokemon introduced but so are new forms of Pokemon already in Pokemon GO. In this case, shiny Pikachu with a baseball hat is currently available for players to get their hands on. In addition, players can find and catch Shiny Bellsprout, so here are all the places where players can get their hands on one.
In the Wild
Shiny Bellsprout appears in the wild, and players can find it there. Where exactly they should go to find it is not clear, but presumably, players can find it just about anywhere. Seeing as it is a Summer event, it might be best to hunt for this shiny plant out where the sun shines, and plants grow. Alternatively, players could check inside nice air-conditioned spaces. Anyone near a Target may want to hunt for Shiny Bellsprout inside one since Target will start selling Pokemon Cards again, that is, if players don't mind the inevitable crowding.
In Eggs
Pokemon eggs can hatch a Shiny Bellsprout with enough steps taken and, of course, the purchase of an egg. There's no guarantee, of course, and being a Shiny, the odds are not fantastic to get the Shiny Bellsprout. Granted, with Season of Discovery's reset of available hatched Pokemon, it's more likely than normal, but it's still a somewhat costly gamble. At the moment, Shiny Bellsprout has a boosted spawn rate out in the wild, so the wild is likely still the safest place to find it at the moment. Unless, of course, players want to take their chances in the final method.
In Raids
Players can earn rewards by playing the new Raids in Season of Discovery. As per usual, certain Pokemon can appear as rewards for completing Raids, and right now, that includes Shiny Bellsprout, though likely not forever.
These are currently all the ways that players can get their hands on Shiny Bellsprout. Again, with boosted spawns, it's possible the best way is to go out and find one in the wild. Just keep an eye on the battery of whatever device is being used, as some players are claiming Pokemon GO is draining phone batteries much more than advertised.
