A Pokemon fan created regional forms for Sentret and Furret that are a cuteness show. In all, the Pokemon franchise has 18 different types of Pokemon, where some types stand out more than others in the games and animes. Despite this, the Pokemon community always shows that in its heart there is room for all of them.

One of these 18 types is the Normal-type Pokemon, which account for 13.1% of all Pokemon that exist in the games. Among these 132 available Pokemon is Sentret, the "Scout Pokemon" added in Gen 2. Starting at level 15 Sentret evolves into Furret, one of the best Normal-type Pokemon available. Sentret has appearances in the Pokedex of almost every generation of Pokemon games except Gens 7 and 9. In the anime, Sentret and Furret also have some appearances. One of the most relevant is the multiple Furret that guide Ash and his friends to heal the injured Celebi in the movie Celebi: The Voice of the Forest.

User Massive-Pattern-7369 posted on Reddit a fan art showing what it would look like if Sentret and Furret had regional forms. Originally, Sentret is a mammal with brown body fur, and Furret is a long-bodied mustelid with brown, cream-colored fur. In the fan art, however, both are transformed into versions with an appearance somewhat reminiscent of the small and powerful Mythical Pokemon Shaymin. This Sentret and Furret are Grass/Normal-type and interestingly, only Smoliv and its evolutions have this combination of types in nine generations of Pokemon games.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet marked the beginning of Generation 9 of Pokemon games, and the fourth generation to have a regional form. The concept was originally introduced in Gen 7, and in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet resulted in curious forms like the Paldean Whooper. The regional form idea has also produced fan art that has often gained prominence, such as the fan art of the regional variant of Trubbish, giving a new look to the Gen 5 Pokemon.

Massive-Pattern-7369's fan art has become a hit on the official Pokemon subreddit, where the post has received over 17,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments. They are indeed lovely regional forms, which a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player could find in the green areas of Paldea like Zones Two and Three of West Province. Despite the rough start, Gen 9 is gradually beating the endurance test and finding its place among Pokemon players. Reasons abound, ranging from the events of Tera Raid Pokemon to the creative fan art produced since the games were released.
