Many Pokemon fans are likely excited to see the different aspects of the fandom translated into real life. Whether it is Pokemon-themed merchandise and products, actual life-sized statues of favorite pocket creatures, or even events, the fandom's community seems to love sharing news about Pokemon with each other. Now, The Pokemon Company has announced that it is sending out Pokemon-themed passenger jets to fly across the Southeast Asia region, likely tickling the fancy of fans based in the area.

This is not the first time that The Pokemon Company has come out with Pokemon-designed airplanes. In Japan, the company assigns Pokemon ambassadors to the country's prefectures to help promote local tourism. And this sometimes includes having Pokemon-themed passenger planes as part of the tourism campaign. With regional and international travel opening up again, it is not surprising that The Pokemon Company looks to expand its reach more by partnering with Southeast Asian carriers and wrapping Pokemon designs around their aircrafts.

In an official release, The Pokemon Company revealed that it has partnered with Singapore airline Scoot to bring Pokemon closer to its fans within the region. In the photos released to the public, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be wrapped in a Pokemon-centric design that was specifically crafted for the airplane. Inside the aircraft, passengers can enjoy products themed after the iconic Electric-type Pikachu, as well as other popular pocket creatures. The plane is specially named "Pikachu Jet TR" and its first flight will be made on September 9, from Singapore to Tokyo. From then, fans can try to spot the jet flying through its routes in Asia, mainly between Singapore, Tokyo, and Seoul.

The Pokemon-themed jet is not the only endeavor that The Pokemon Company will host in Singapore. To celebrate the partnership with Scoot and the reveal of the special Pikachu Jet TR, there will be a special Pikachu-themed event in the country this November 18-20, 2022. What's more, the weekend festivities will also play host to a Pokemon GO Safari Zone event where avid players can participate in actual physical activities for the mobile game.

Though The Pokemon Company does seem to be focusing on Asia for its Pokemon-themed jets, it is possible that the company will bring them to Western shores soon. Travel restrictions are loosening up, and flight numbers are already on the rise. Hopefully this encourages the company to expand the flight routes of their Pokemon jets in the near future.
