WARNING: The following news article contains SPOILERS for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk. Just over a day after the launch of The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, a Japanese player discovered two hidden caves located deep within Area Zero and shared their findings on social media with two videos. Following their post, the OP received gratitude from other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers for their discovery and video footage.

Released as the second half of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Indigo Disk took players back to the mysterious Area Zero after they proved their skill in battle at the Blueberry Academy. After becoming the BB League Champion, players returned to Paldea for an impromptu expedition to Area Zero and unlocked a new layer that had been previously inaccessible. This led them to the crystalline lair of the legendary Pokemon Terapagos, the zone's titular Hidden Treasure. Following the conclusion of the DLC's main story, players were allowed to return to Area Zero and comb through the caves once more to find some items and Pokemon that they missed the first time.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Leaks Hint at Mythical Pokemon Debut

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet get the new DLC Indigo Disk, and now leaks hint that Paldea will soon see the debut of another powerful Pokemon.

One Japanese Pokemon player made some interesting discoveries upon returning to Area Zero. Twitter user kaju9751choco posted two videos that showed what happened after returning to Area Zero after unlocking Koraidon's and Miraidon's flight mode, which can only be done after clearing the story of the DLC and speaking with Amarys at the Blueberry Academy. In the first clip, kaju9751choco rode Koraidon up to a crystal, climbed it, and found a path that led to a room with two large crystals. By navigating past them with the new flight ability, the OP found and defeated a level 80 Garchomp with the new Stellar-type as its Tera type.

Following that, the OP backtracked to find that a crystal blocking the way to a new path had been removed. This led to a secret area that had items as a reward for both finding it and defeating the Stellar Garchomp. These rewards were 17 to 32 Tera shards of all types except the Stellar type, Stardust, and TMs for the moves Tera Blast and Meteor Beam. Initially from Pokemon Sword and Shield, Meteor Beam returned to the series in The Indigo Disk as TM200. It is a Rock-type special attack that some fossil-based Pokemon can use.

For their work, the OP received compliments and gratitude from other Pokemon fans. With plenty of secrets to uncover, and legendary Pokemon to face in addition to Terapagos, The Indigo Disk for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has something new for trainers of all kinds.
