Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can keep their extra Gimmighoul Coins even if they don't have the inventory space to store the coins themselves. There are tons of different NPCs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and some of them can come in pretty handy at times. It's hard to name who the best NPC in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet could be, but there might be one that takes the cake just because of how useful it is when it comes to evolving a certain Pokemon.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet let Pokemon fans explore the extensive region of Paldea freely, and, as they go on their journeys throughout its vastness, they will eventually come across Gimmighoul Coins. This is a rare item that can only be obtained by finding and approaching roaming form Gimmighoul near rocks or ruins or by interacting with chest form Gimmighoul on top of watchtowers.

In order to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo, players need to collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins. The issue is that the maximum inventory capacity for these coins is precisely this exact number; this means that if the player finds more coins, they won't be able to keep them since they won't fit in their bags. Thankfully, there's an NPC in Medali that finds the extra coins, keeps them, and then gives them back. Reddit user 666haywoodst mentioned this NPC in their post recently, and it turns out that many players hadn't found him yet. It's best not to question why and how he magically gets ahold of them, and simply take them back and simply be grateful for his existence.

The NPC can be found near Medali's West Pokemon Center, on the other side of the wall. Gholdengo is a very powerful Pokemon, so players will undoubtedly want to train a few Gimmighoul and evolve them. It's wise to take note of this NPC's location to be sure to come back and talk to him in the future. The NPC was a great quality-of-life addition to the game; it's definitely a relief to know that players won't be wasting any Gimmighoul Coins, even after storing 999 in their bags.

Gholdengo is a Pokemon that has taken the entire competitive Pokemon scene by storm. Its signature move Make It Rain, its fantastic dual typing, and its unique ability Good As Gold, all come together to create an extremely threatening Pokemon. Gholdengo paired with the Choice Specs item is quite popular in competitive battles at the moment; the item increases its Special Attack which powers up the Pokemon. It's a combination that definitely intimidates any trainer that has to face off against it.
