Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are teasing a brand-new trailer that will seemingly focus on Ghost-type Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are less than a month away from release, yet there's still a lot about the games that have been kept secret. There have been numerous Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailers released, yet the only a fraction of the games' supposedly 100+ new Pokemon have been revealed at this point.

If the leaks are accurate, it seems that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will introduce over 100 new Pokemon to the franchise. Only a handful of new Pokemon have been revealed at the time of this writing, from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter Pokemon to the "regional fake" Wiglett. The new Pokemon revealed for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet represent a wide-range of Pokemon types, but only one Ghost-type Pokemon has been revealed so far.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Ceruledge is a dual Fire/Ghost-type Pokemon, but now it seems that more Ghost-type reveals could be happening very soon. The official Pokemon YouTube channel has confirmed that the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer will go live on Tuesday, October 25 at 8:00am CT. Details on what exactly the new trailer will entail are unavailable at the time of this writing, as the video's title is simply "????" and the description is a bunch of dots, but the placeholder image for it lets fans know that it will almost certainly focus on Ghost-types.

When is the Next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trailer?

The image for the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer shows the Paldea region at night, with Generation 1 Ghost-type Pokemon Gengar peeking from behind a bush. Gengar has been previously confirmed for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, though fans are still waiting to learn definitively if Gastly and Haunter will be featured or not. It would be odd for the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer to only confirm the return of previously-existing Pokemon, especially since Gengar has already been featured in a trailer, so it seems like a safe bet that a new Ghost-type or two will be featured as well. That's not a guarantee, of course, and fans will ultimately have to tune in to the trailer to find out for themselves.

While most of the new Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been kept secret, trailers have revealed some of the games' gym leaders, the three main storylines players will get to tackle, and various features like co-op and the open world Paldea region. Soon Pokemon fans will be able to check it all out for themselves, as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set to launch within a matter of weeks.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will launch on November 18, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
