It has only been a few months since the launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and The Pokemon Company seems keen in keeping players interested by opening preorders for new figures of the game’s Legendary Pokemon. Given that players have to choose which Legendary Pokemon they will encounter in every game, it seems only right that the company produces official products and merchandise based on these pocket creatures.Since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was released last November 2022, The Pokemon Company has been keeping the game’s community very busy with new content. Recently, more Tera Raids have been added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, giving players more incentive to turn their Switches on, log on, and play. However, the company is also focusing on marketing endeavors in the real world. This includes solidifying brand partnerships, hosting events in physical spaces, and producing themed products, such as these new Miraidon and Koraidon figures.RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fan Makes Real-Life Version of Grusha's ScarfOn the official Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, it was announced that preorders are now open for new statues of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Legendary Pokemon, Miraidon and Koraidon. The Twitter post shared a link to the Japanese Pokemon Center online shop, providing details for each of the new figures. For fans who prefer one legendary over the other, the static figures are sold separately, mimicking the choice players have to make when purchasing their copy of the game. According to the site, each figure will set a player back 29,700 yen or around $225 USD.

Preorders for the new Legendary Pokemon figures opened on February 3, 2023 and will end on March 6, 2023, Japan time. The toys' dimensions are 23 cm × 16 cm × 21 cm, and will weigh at 575 grams. Players will also likely appreciate that each statue's base is a book, likely designed after the school theme of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, fans will have to wait for almost a whole year before these items get delivered to them, as they have an estimated delivery date of January 2024. What's more, there is no indication that the figures can be shipped to addresses outside of Japan.

For hardcore fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, these Miraidon and Koraidon figures are likely something they would love to have as part of their collection. Hopefully The Pokemon Company will put these beautiful statues up for sale in the global Pokemon Center online stores in the future.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
