Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have discovered a variety of unfinished interiors for the game, reflective of the fact that most towns do not have many buildings that can be entered, and one of those appears a lot like a Battle Tower. Just like the interiors, the Battle Tower is a popular feature that didn't make the cut for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

While one would think that everything that could be possibly discovered about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet would be by now, that's simply not the case. After all, some of the key elements of the games are not in them quite yet, with many fans expecting Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC to be announced on Pokemon Day, February 27. Some of them, like town interiors, are not likely to make it into the game at all, but fingers crossed, perhaps the Battle Tower will.

Twitter user Lewtwo recently shared some interior locations around the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet town of Zapapico. There is some mining material scattered around the room, but otherwise, it's pretty standard. Perhaps someone willing to trade a Pokemon would have been inside, or just some NPC with random commentary. The fact that many interiors were inaccessible was a letdown for many fans, with these unfinished leaks having aggregator Centro Leaks question whether Game Freak just didn't have enough time to include them. That's hard to say for sure, but it's not likely they make their way into the game now.

However, another unused room has potential. Shared by Twitter user TatSUSgiri, there is one room that appears to have blocked-off walkways and a counter, likely where the trainer would talk to an NPC before being allowed to move forward. This general set up could possibly be a Battle Tower, as Centro Leaks also notes, and this would possibly explain why it isn't in the games. Unlike interiors in towns, though, Game Freak could finish a Battle Tower and work it into any upcoming DLC.

As it stands, there is very little known about possible DLC. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet heavily hint at the inclusion of Ultra Beasts, while many fans think players will travel to Southern Kalos. At the same time, there is still plenty of mystery afoot with Area Zero, and the third legendary alongside Koraidon and Miraidon ties into all of it somehow. For now, fans will just have to wait and see.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
