While there have been many peculiar occurrences in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one player has found themselves surrounded by Klawfs in what may be a unique spawn bug or Easter egg. Among the glitches that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans have discovered since the games were released is one that has the Pokemon trainer turn into a giant monster and another that causes them to fall through the map. However, this Klawf encounter may be among the weirdest.

A Reddit user has garnered over 3,800 upvotes on a video from the journey through Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Paldea in which they're surrounded by Klawf after leaving their console for a minute. Klawf is among the many new Pokemon introduced with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, while there are also regional variants for Pokemon like Tauros and Wooper, and terastallized Pokemon which provide further variety. Similar to most generations of Pokemon, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet also have shiny versions of the Paldean Pokedex entries, and this Reddit user got a strange response after catching a shiny Klawf.

Reddit user Remarkable-Song86 recently shared a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip in which the Paldean Pokemon trainer is surrounded by Klawf as the player closes the menu to move around. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player then begins rotating the camera slowly to reveal a total of 13 Klawf in a half-circle around the player which prevents them from walking to the nearest blue Klawf without starting another encounter. Though there's a small patch where the player would be able to escape the Pokemon without having to capture or battle any of them unnecessarily, there are Klawf in nearly every direction thanks to the placement of the Klawf army next to a cliff.

Given that Remarkable-Song86 claims to have already caught a shiny Klawf before capturing their incredible Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip, the blue Klawf in the distance presents another rare occurrence alongside the half-circle of standard Klawf. Although none of the Klawf are titans like the ones experienced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Path of Legends, Remarkable-Song86's video highlights some subtle size differences between the regular Klawf that will spawn in most areas. Remarkable-Song86 didn't state whether they're working to collect each shiny in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but the blue Klawf may be the beginning of another long journey comparable to the three main paths.

With the video concluding before the player is forced to either deal with the Klawf around them or walk away, it's currently unclear how they escaped the moment that rivals some of the best in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Because this Klawf event may have been triggered by going AFK or catching a shiny, other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players may be able to replicate what happened to Remarkable-Song86 under the same circumstances.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
