Finding shinies is always an arduous task in any Pokemon game, but this handy trick makes getting at least one of them in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet extremely easy.
It's been an eventful few weeks for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans, with a plethora of events taking place in the game. Fans got two Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mystery Gifts in a short span of time, giving them Pokemon such as Quaxly and Flutter Mane. Alongside that, there was a new 7-star Tera Raid taking place in the game as well, featuring none other than Primarina. Amid that, players have come across a bug that gives them a guaranteed shiny Pokemon.

In a new post on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit, user Xzecuter highlights a clever trick to get a shiny Flutter Mane in the game. Firstly, players will need to get a Sparkling Ghost sandwich and head to the Roaring Moon Cave during the day. At this point, the only Pokemon that spawns at that location is Flutter Mane, and due to a bug, all of them are shinies. While Sparkling sandwich helps in catching shinies by improving the odds of getting one, this trick is a guaranteed way of finding a shiny Flutter Mane.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Bug Gives Players Unlimited Shiny Flutter Mane
Surprisingly, another player has noted that this also applies to the bottom level of Area Zero. Just like the former, this region also only has shiny Flutter Mane spawning around provided players go during the daytime. However, what makes the trick slightly better is the fact that for this area, players don't need sparkling power, and any regular ghost-spawning sandwich should also suffice. Other players have confirmed that this works, with one of them stating that they caught a whopping three of them a few days back.
For Violet owners playing in Union Circle, the process is a bit tricky. As user OM3GAS7RIK3 highlights, this can only be pulled off if the Scarlet player eats the Sparkling Ghost Sandwich and then waits on top of the crystal near the shiny rock. The Violet player should stand on the shiny rock, as this is crucial to ensure the spawns work properly. Considering how tedious shiny hunting can be at times, this is definitely a pretty neat trick to get a shiny Flutter Mane without much hassle.
