Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC introduced the Blueberry Quest feature, allowing players to catch many returning legendaries and some of the fan-favorite starters from previous generations.

To catch the legendaries, players need to complete ten BBQs, and they would get a chance to unlock one of them at random. However, some legendaries, such as Kyurem and Rayquaza, are locked behind Group Quests in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Group Quests are BBQs that can only be completed within a Union Circle group. Do Players Need Nintendo Switch Online For Group Quests?

Before a player can get started with group quests, it is quite crucial to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. It is important to note that unlike other aspects of the game, such as redeeming Mystery Gifts, group quests are only accessible to Nintendo Online members.

Additionally, for players who own multiple accounts, the Nintendo Online membership doesn't automatically get shared across profiles on the same device, and each account will need its own membership. For players with multiple profiles, a family plan is a much more feasible option.

How do you do Group Quests in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

Once players have that Nintendo Online subscription ready to go, all they need to do is utilize the Union Circle feature. To access it, players need to head to the Poke Portal from the in-game menu and choose the Union Circle option.

From there, players can simply form their own group or join a group. This can be a bit of a bummer for many since players need to share their Link Code with other players for them to be able to join their group. Unfortunately, there is no way for the players to make a Union Circle with random people, as there is no matchmaking system for the game. Players who don't have friends playing the game can head to the Union Circle subreddit to find fellow players.

Once players are in a Union Circle, they can see all BBQs together. Each player in the Union Circle will have their own set of BBQs to complete. However, everyone will get Blueberry Points for the quests that are completed while in the party. For every ten regular BBQs players complete, they will get a Red BBQ, which is worth more points, and every three Red BBQs will unlock a Gold BBQ.
