It’s quite easy to max out a Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Pokemon’s Attack stat, thanks to how many great spots there are for farming Attack EVs. Naturally, there will always end up being spots that prove to be the best.
Whether a player is looking to farm five and six-star Tera Raid battles or hit the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet ranked ladder, stat management is critical. If the player just grinds in the wild to level their Pokemon up, they’ll inevitably be left with a Pokemon that has unfocused, below-average stats. That makes farming EVs essential to almost any of the activities locked behind the post-game.
Thankfully, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet give players a number of locations where it’s quite easy to farm for Attack EVs. Here are the Pokemon that can be farmed and which spots offer the shortest path to a hard-hitting attacker.
How to Farm Attack EVs
Players can farm Attack EVs by defeating select Pokemon while equipping their party with the Power Bracer item. The Power Bracer gives a +8 Attack EV bonus for each knockout the team scores. This allows Pokemon to quickly max out their attack stat.
However, players will also want to ensure they aren’t filling up their Pokemon with other unusable EVs. This means players should only knock out Pokemon that offer pure Attack EV yields, not for other stats or for Pokemon that yield EVs in multiple. Players can defeat Pokemon from these evolutionary lines in order to guarantee pure Attack EV yields:

- Dratini
- Teddiursa
- Larvitar
- Shuppet
- Shinx
- Gible
- Sandile
- Axew
- Cubchoo
- Pawniard

There are many other Pokemon that offer Attack EVs, but finding packs of these Pokemon and their evolutions offers pure yields. There are a few spots where these Pokemon tend to congregate, allowing for efficient Attack EV farming.
Best Places to Farm Attack EVs in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
The best place to farm Attack EVs in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is around the North Province Area Two Pokemon Center. This area is found right along the northeastern border of Paldea near Team Star’s Fighting Crew base. This wooded area is packed with Pokemon that offer pure attack EV yields.
Lokix, Scyther, Pawniard, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, Ursaring, and Teddiursa can all be defeated. The area isn’t completely full of Pokemon that only offer pure Attack EV yields, as Altaria offers Sp. Defense while Falinks offers a mixed yield of Attack and Sp. Defense. Still, players will have loads of Pokemon to take on if they want to max out their Attack stat.
For those who don’t want to max their attack stat but want a precise Attack EV total, the best option is the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada. Outside of Porto Marinada, players can find packs of Paldean Tauros. While Kantonian Tauros offers one Attack EV per win, Paldean Tauros yields two Attack EVs, which is upped to 10 while holding a Power Bracer. This allows players to easily raise their EV totals in 10-point increments, and then finish things off by taking off the Power Bracer to get an exact number.
