A recent Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leak has teased what the rumored paradox forms of legendary Pokemon Suicune and Virizion will look like when they are added to the games. Paradox Pokemon are a new concept introduced in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games, allowing players to catch new variations of previously-existing Pokemon with either a prehistoric past or sci-fi future twist on their design.Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can find a book that teases even more paradox Pokemon that aren't featured in the base game. Specifically, the book has sketches that suggest paradox forms for legendary Pokemon Suicune and Virizion are on the way in potential Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. Suicune is a Water-type Pokemon that was first introduced in the Generation 2 games Pokemon Gold and Silver, whereas Grass/Fighting-type Pokemon Virizion was made its debut in the Generation 5 games Pokemon Black and White.RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Patch 1.2.0 Notes RevealedThe appearance of Suicune and Virizion in the book has led many to assume that the Pokemon will be added to the games as part of some kind of DLC expansion, but DLC has yet to be officially announced by Game Freak. While fans wait for official Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC news, prominent leaker Khu has teased what fans can expect from paradox Suicune and Virizion. Apparently, the Pokemon won't look like their sketches that can be found in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet base games, and Suicune will not resemble a dog like it does in its original form. The three possible body types presented for Suicune are a bipedal dinosaur, a four-legged winged creature, or a humanoid.

This would be quite the change from how Suicune appears currently, but Game Freak has shown a willingness to give even the most popular Pokemon significant makeovers when it comes to things like paradox forms and regional variants. Of course, it should be noted that any paradox Suicune will technically be considered a completely original Pokemon anyway, which gives Game Freak even more freedom to change the design.

For now, it's worth stressing that paradox forms of Suicune and Virizion have not been confirmed for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, and in fact, DLC for the games has not even been announced at the time of this writing. However, it's a virtual guarantee that DLC will be released for the games at some point down the line, and it's even possible the reveal could happen as early as Pokemon Day on February 27, but fans should keep their expectations in check for now.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
