Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC have yet to be properly announced, but given its success and how Pokemon Sword and Shield have DLC, it seems like a safe bet. Not to mention, it's been discussed by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leakers like Riddler Khu.

While everything from Khu should be treated as a rumor and taken with a grain of salt, they've got numerous details regarding Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus correct. So, it stands to reason that they at least have some inkling about the purported DLC as well.

Khu recently posted two points in connection to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, one which asked about the identity of SV and giving fans sub-legendary, Limited Legendary, Mythical, and Paradox categories. While the S and V are confusing, many believe they are referring to the Paradox versions of Suicune and Virizion seen in the games' lore, though this is an interesting way to phrase it. Meanwhile, the most important pole asks who players think they'll encounter in the DLC, implying at least one of these to be true: Top Champion Geeta, a new Professor, Heath, and/or a new character. Knowing Khu, it could be that all of these are actually correct.

Fans have been theorizing that Top Champion Geeta has some connection to Area Zero, thanks to her Glimmora, while Heath is the one responsible for the expedition and creating the Scarlet or Violet Books. A new professor and a new character would also just make sense as the story of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet continued. And so whichever of these characters appear will no doubt have a huge impact on the DLC's story. While fans have a wait on their hands before a proper DLC reveal takes place, it's worth adding that this isn't the first DLC hint Khu has dropped.

Khu recently confirmed that an image showing Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamaxing/Gigantamaxing, and Terastallization, asking which was different, and later confirmed it was a hint for DLC. Fans pointed out Mega Evolution as being different, as the others are specifically tied to one region, and this has led to some belief that a DLC would explore the Southern Kalos region and add Mega Evolution to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Since the game has already teased the return of Ultra Beasts, it'll be wild to see what takes place in this DLC, whether any of this proves true or not.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
