A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player encountered a weird visual glitch after winning a Grass Tera Raid battle, which turns their entire game world into a Terastallized form with more colorful textures and making the game look like it just popped out of a color palette. Though GameFreak recently issued an update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to address major glitches, there are still a few that end up hampering the player experience.

After its initial release, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had a number of serious glitches that plagued the game for a long time. As an example, players were having their save files wiped out due to an outstanding glitch, which seems to have emerged with the version 1.2.0 update. Hopefully, a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player came up with a solution to this corruption glitch, which enables trainers to access their original save files if they follow the steps. Another bizarre glitch associated with mounting the Legendary Pokemon in multiplayer also turns trainers into giant monsters. Unfortunately, GameFreak has not released a hotfix update for these glitches yet.

A Reddit user who goes by DragonShadow0 has discovered a new visual glitch after completing a Grass Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which transforms their entire game world into a Terastallized form. The clip showcases the player walking around the overworld, but the normal textures appear to have been changed completely. The game looks considerably glossier as though the Grass Tera Raid filter spread out all textures.

In the comments, some players made jokes that they wish it was a visual option in the game. There are also people voicing their frustration over these sorts of serious glitches, with some feeling that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet get even more buggy with every update. The original poster noted that this Terastallized form went away after 15 minutes without doing anything to fix it. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had a few strange glitches that directly impacted the player experience, but this one might top all others since it changes the entire game world with shiny and colorful textures.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet drew criticism from players for outstanding issues with the game, which forced GameFreak to work constantly to make proper fixes. Though the developers have cleaned up these sorts of visual glitches, players are still discovering new ones. Hopefully, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will receive a new update this week, which should include additional hotfixes for the remaining glitches that are impacting the game.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are currently available on Nintendo Switch.
