In Nintendo's most recent Pokemon game fans have been provided a great amount of new and old mechanics that are fairly enjoyable. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have once again made use of the famed Rotom Phone, in which players can access multiple apps and most notably, take photos. Players can take photos of anything around them, as well as switch the camera around to take a selfie.

Players will also be able to change their pose and expression, the filter, and even rotate the camera around to provide various angles. In the large region of Paldea, there are plenty of locations on the map for players to create wonderful photographs from, but for those expert photographers out there, some locations can prove much more efficient.

10 The Player's House

the player and their house

From the very beginning of Scarlet & Violet, players will be introduced to the game from their house, just like all Pokemon games before. Once outside, players will immediately notice how incredibly beautiful Paldea will prove to be, and how very unexpectedly nice their house is.

The player's house is beautifully detailed from left to right, and its architecture is reminiscent of that of a traditional Spanish home. Players can take great photos showcasing their amazing house, and they'll always turn out great.

9 A Tiny Island Near The Player's House

After taking great photographs featuring the very gorgeous player home, players should step over to the right of the cliff near their house, where the ocean will be perceivable from a wide peripheral.

Looking down, players will be able to see a small island in the ocean not too far from land, and two palm trees resting on it. After restoring Koraidon or Miraidon's ability to tread water, and dodging those water-type Pokemon, players should make their way here to create wonderful photographs. Having a friend take a picture will produce even better results.

8 Mesagoza Plaza

Upon arriving to the incredibly large city of Mesagoza, players would most often feel in awe at the many shops, buildings, and people all residing in this one city. In the plaza, there is a big open area featuring a Pokemon battlefield.

This spot is definitely one of the best to take photos at, especially with Pokemon (even if they're sleeping). When playing with friends, players can definitely create even better results with photographs by having a friend take a picture of them standing in the center of the plaza.

7 West Mesagoza's Flower Decor

When players are running around the active city of Mesagoza, they may come across a lovely flower-filled garden with a unique Pokeball design. Players can find this small garden by running west from Mesagoza's main plaza, This garden has two Combees playing around on top of it.

The player can make their way to the top of this garden by using Koraidon or Miraidon to jump to the top, dismounting, and now preparing for pictures. By having a friend take a photo of the player standing on top of the garden with the Combees, they can produce unique photos.

6 The Stairs To Mesagoza's Academy

As the attention is brought to the player by Nemona, the stairs to the main character's school is an incredible flight to walk. From the perception of miles away, the academy of whichever version of the game the player is playing is visible at the very top of the stairs.

This academy is incredibly large, making for a great background shot with players. From the stairs leading up to the academy, players can get a curious selfie that takes not of the long flight of stairs, cherry-topped with the fancy school at the very top.

5 Canyons Of The East

If players were to exit Mesagoza from the east gate of the grand city, they would immediately be met with a sudden change in landscape as red canyons take over the area. These great canyons give the player a lot of ground to maneuver, whether it be through short tunnels below ground level, or by jumping from atop the canyons using Miraidon or Koraidon.

Whatever the case, these canyons offer many opportunities for great photos, just like seen in this photo here. Players should grab a friend for a better shot.

4 Cortondo

The small yet lovely town of Cortondo may be one of the very first towns outside Mesagoza that players may come across. This is because it is home to one of the nearest Pokemon gyms, the ferocious bug-type baker. Cortondo's gym stadium is a wonderful set-up that is a few levels above ground.

The stairs leading up to the stadium are a wonderful place of scenery, offering tables for guests to relax at. These stairs are highly decorative, offering players a great chance to take some great photos, especially in the dark.

3 The Lighthouse

One of the very first scenes in Paldea will lead players straight to the lighthouse near the player's home as Nemona walks them there. After taking care of Miraidon or Koraidon, players will be able to climb up the very top of the lighthouse.

From here, the player will be able to gaze out into the large open world that Scarlet & Violet provide. As such, photographs from atop this lighthouse will look incredible, and with the right angles, jaw-dropping. For the best results, players should have a friend snap a photo of them on the railing.

2 An Eastern Waterfall

While traveling down a route after Cortondo and heading northeast towards the Sky Titan, the player will encounter a bridge with a nearby waterfall. This waterfall drives from a large mountain, and with enough blank space around it, a wonderful photo could be taken with the waterfall as the main aspect of its backdrop.

The bridge itself can also be a great spot to pose for some pictures. Players can get some great selfies with the waterfall, but the best results are achieved when friends take photos of them while posing.

1 Sky Titan's Mountain

In the very far west of Paldea's large map, players can locate the Sky Titan, a ferocious flying Pokemon that throws giant boulders that tumble down the mountain. These boulders can easily stop the player from progressing if not careful.

After taking care of the beast, players will be able to freely wander around the mountain. From the very top outside the cave where the Herba Mystica was, a brilliant view of Paldea can be seen. This incredible view of far-out snowy mountains makes for a great backdrop for photographs.
