Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will introduce many new pocket monsters like Farigiraf and Bellibolt, and now a fan has made shiny versions of them. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet comes out on November 18 and will bring a host of new Pokemon like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Smoliv, Koraidon, and Cyclizar. Fans are extremely excited to get their hands on the upcoming title and play with these new additions while experimenting with their unique abilities.
While gamers wait for the new titles, some resort to more creative means to show appreciation for the upcoming Pokemon, like fan art. The internet is full of breathtaking artwork of pocket monsters like Wiglett, Smoliv, Koraidon, and Fuecoco. Lately, artwork of the Pokemon Farigiraf is becoming popular, and now one fan has shown their creativity by making a shiny version of it and another newly added Pokemon.
Reddit user HertzBurst deserves credit for making shiny variants of Farigiraf and Bellibolt, another debutant in PokemonScarlet and Violet. The user has uploaded two images, each showing a lustrous version of the two pocket monsters. The first picture features Bellibolt, who is depicted in a brownish color instead of its usual green body. The orange markings have been replaced with blue spots, and so have the feet. Moreover, the yellow dot in the center of Bellibot's body is also shown in a shade of blue.
The second image shows a shiny version of Farigiraf, a giraffe-based pocket monster to be introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. At first look, HertzBurst's Farigiraf looks almost identical to the original version, but some changes become apparent upon a closer look. For instance, the most notable differences between the art and the original are Farigiraf's feet, neck spikes, and nose. All three are painted blue rather than yellow or black. In addition, its head is depicted in dual tones of black and brown, making it a pleasing combination. Ultimately, the Pokemon community admired the original poster's work and applauded them for making these drawings so quickly, as Bellibot was revealed only a few days ago.
For those who don't know, Bellibolt is an Electric-type Pokemon with a large, rotund body based on a frog. The yellow dot on the stomach, supposedly a belly button, helps generate electricity which is discharged through the eyeballs on the top of its head. At the same time, Farigiraf is based on giraffes and is a Normal/Psychic-type Pokemon that evolves from Girafarig. After including these two, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have 19 new confirmed pocket monsters.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
