Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release two new trailers, one of which focuses on the reveal of a brand-new Pokemon. It's not long now until the ninth generation of Pokemon games are set free into the world, giving players access to new Pokemon, another region to explore, and plenty more. If the early impressions of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are to be believed, the latest games could be the most ambitious titles the franchise has seen in some time, as they look to add in open-world exploration, co-op play, and more.

With so much being added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there has understandably been a lot of promotional material released for the game, giving fans a closer look at what the Paldea region is like. So far, a few major trailers have released for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with each giving fans a more in-depth look at the games in preparation for their launch. Most recently, a new gym leader was shown off for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet alongside her partner, the Electric-type Pokemon Bellibolt.

While Bellibolt is still charming plenty of Pokemon fans, recently Nintendo has unveiled two new trailers for the games. The first is a much shorter clip, only running for around 15 seconds, and it shows a trainer being harassed by a Gengar. The second trailer gives a live-action look at some new Pokemon in Paldea, as well as some old favorites from the franchise. The live-action, "Your World Your Way" trailer doesn't give much in terms of new information, but it reminds fans the focus of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is on their open nature.

As stated, the shorter of the two new trailers doesn't seem to show much at all initially, but it does act as a teaser for a previously announced livestream taking place on October 25, which will introduce a new Ghost-type Pokemon to fans. Considering Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have only unveiled a handful of new creatures at the time of writing, a lot of fans are expecting plenty more pocket monsters to fill out the Paldean Pokedex before release. Considering a Ghost-type Pokemon has already been revealed in the form of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Ceruledge, fans could be treated to more details on that creature, or they could get something else entirely.

The live-action trailer doesn't provide a teaser for the later livestream, but acts as a solid introduction into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region. Obviously, fans shouldn't expect graphics on the same level as the CGI in the trailer, but "Your World Your Way" certainly evokes the sense of scale and ambition the ninth generation of Pokemon games are going for, giving fans that extra bit of hype before release.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will launch on November 18, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
