Since the November release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players have been coming across many unique details, including one that has pointed out an interesting similarity between the Team Star members. Beyond the myriad of bugs and glitches plaguing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at launch, there have been many small details and hidden Easter eggs to uncover along the adventure.

A Reddit user has garnered over 800 upvotes on their Pokemon Scarlet and Violet post that highlights five different Team Star members and their battle sequence introductions. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced Terastallized Pokemon forms as their new evolutions compared to the Gigantamax and Dynamax forms from Pokemon Sword and Shield or Mega Evolutions from Pokemon X and Y. Another fresh thing that joined the Pokemon series with Scarlet and Violet was three different paths that players could take in their attempt to complete the games, of which Team Star belongs to the Starfall Street storyline.

Reddit user NexorisDraco recently shared several images from their trek through Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Starfall Street in which they point out one distinct similarity between five mostly different Team Star members. The post notes that each of the Team Star trainers are using themed Poke Balls, with Giacomo holding a Timer Ball, Mela with a Quick Ball, Atticus with a Repeat Ball in his hand, Ortega using a Luxury Ball, and Eri has a Heal Ball. While some of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet NPCs are using Poke Balls that match their aesthetics, others have ones that match their temperaments or Pokemon more accurately.

There are a total of 23 different types of Poke Balls available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and according to NexorisDraco's post, a lot of them are covered by the handful of Team Star members found throughout Starfall Street. While many of the Poke Balls being used by these Team Star memberscan are found by exploring the open world of Paldea, more can be acquired through Pokedex progress, presents from Pokemon, and the Porto Marinada Auction. Though NexorisDraco's Reddit post neglects to mention Pokemon Team Star leader Cassiopeia, the boss trainer wields a standard Poke Ball which is only unique when compared to the other members of her group as opposed to most Paldea trainers.

Team Star trainers aren't the only fans of matching unique Poke Balls to Pokemon or their styles as one Pokemon player has created a fan art showing each Eeveelution with corresponding capture tools. Because Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will likely receive DLC content in the future that adds to the three paths of the game, the remaining ball designs may pop up with future Team Star members or potential alternative rivals.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
