A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player made an image showing what Quaxly would look like if it did not have a beak. Fans like to make alterations to existing pocket monsters and trainers from the RPG series, often for comedic effect. These visual changes in the Pokemon franchise allow gamers to have fun with the creatures and characters seen in the titles.

Quaxly is the Water-Type starter for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The pocket monster evolves into Quaxwell, and then eventually becomes the Water/Fighting-Type Quaquaval. One gamer made an image that shows what Quaxly would look like if the pocket monster had its beak removed.

A Redditor known as wooper-de-doo posted a picture showing an altered Quaxly. The image is the official art for the Pokemon, though it has had one major change done to it. The pocket monster no longer has a beak, a prominent feature in its design. Quaxly still has the same mouth shape on its face and nothing else was changed. Despite the alteration being a small one, it is still a big difference, and makes it harder to tell what the pocket monster's design is supposed to be based off of.

Reddit users are divided in how they feel about the change that wooper-de-doo made to Quaxly. One commenter stated that the Pokemon was massacred, while another simply requested for the image to be deleted. However, there were a few who liked the beakless Water-Type. A few users said that removing the feature from the pocket monster's face was an improvement, though one of them could not explain why. There were also some who joked about the change, such as one gamer who mentioned that it looks as if Quaxly is judging how they are dressed, and that the Pokemon is not impressed. Wooper-de-doo's idea was a fun one, and gave fans a new way to look at Quaxly.

Not all the changes that players want to make to certain pocket monsters are visual in the same fashion as wooper-de-doo's modification to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's starter. Some of the adjustments to Pokemon that fans want to see include an alteration to Typing or stats. Players also want to see some creatures learn different attacks or receive an evolution to make them more useful in battle. It shows that there are a number of things that Pokemon fans would like to see changed in the series, whether they be big or small. Gamers such as wooper-de-doo are taking the initiative in altering things and coming up with ideas that are fun for those who enjoy the RPG series.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for the Nintendo Switch.
