Since The Pokemon Company published the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailer in February, fans have been trying hard to find more details about the game. Although the second trailer published in June did unveil some exciting information about the first installments of the 9th generation in the Pokemon video game series, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. Every day, many alleged leaks and rumors about the monsters and features of the game are shared amongst the Pokemon community online. The majority of these leaks cannot be trusted, like the leak about Sprigatito's evolution that was apparently fake.

Fans of the Pokemon game series love to create interesting designs of their favorite pocket monsters; while some pieces of fan art get a lot of love from the community, many are often rejected. Most of the recent artwork is based on the new starter Pokemon of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but art pieces of other Pokemon also regularly pop up on social media platforms. Recently, a fan created their own design of regional Wooper based on some rumors, while another creative Redditor created a captivating art piece in which they depicted swapped versions of Samurott and Incineroar.

A Pokemon fan who goes by the username EuphoricAd8344 on Reddit has published a sketch of their design for Quaxly's final evolution. Quaxly is one of the three starter Pokemon who are set to be introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. According to the trailer, Quaxly is a water-type Pokemon that resembles a Duckling. There is no official information regarding Quaxly's evolution, but recent leaks have suggested that he may follow the flying-type evolution line, and the original poster's creation is also based on these leaks.

As soon as EuphoricAd8344 posted the sketch, comments started pouring in from the Reddit Pokemon community. The comment section is filled up with positive reactions from the majority of the fans. Redditor CritLuck was so impressed that he commented, "I was planning on choosing Quaxly already, but if the official final Evo artwork looks even half as good as this, then I'm definitely hyped to pick it as my starter!" while PaleAd6109 wrote," Most realistic interpretation I've seen thus far great job would love to see it in full color." The original poster has also created a colored art piece where they portray the final evolution of Quaxly.

For now, fans only have official confirmation on a total of 8 Pokemon, including the region's starters, as well as info on a few aspects of the game such as its non-linear design, four-player co-op, and some general themes. As the release date is getting closer, fans are wondering what Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's next trailer will reveal, which could release at any time.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
