Fans of Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet might have a slightly easier time filling out their Pokedex thanks to a player-created map that shows the locations of all Wild Tera Pokemon spawns in the two titles. This convenient map is sure to come in handy for players looking for some extra muscle ahead of the upcoming Tera Raid events in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The latest entries in Nintendo and developer Game Freak’s long-running series of Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet marks the franchise’s transition into a full open-world setting. Set in the all-new Paldea region, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet tasks players with taking on the role of a student from either Naranja or Uva Academy as they battle their way through three different game modes. Although the series’ open-world debut was eagerly anticipated by many long-time fans of the franchise, poor performance and numerous glitches in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have led to the games receiving a mixed reception from players.

In a new post on r/Pokemon, Reddit user TechnoTrainer has shared an incredibly helpful map that highlights the spawn locations for all of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Wild Tera-type Pokemon. A new introduction to the series, Tera Types replace a Pokemon’s offense type while giving it new defensive capabilities. Switching around Pokemon abilities can lead to some wildly creative new possibilities for long-time players, such as choosing to evolve a Flying-type Pikachu. With their unique and powerful abilities, Wild Tera-type Pokemon can be especially useful when taking part in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Tera Raids.

TechnoTrainer’s useful map was well-received by the Pokemon fans on Reddit, with many players expressing their gratitude for the handy reference guide. Wanting to make it as easy as possible to track down all of the various Wild Tera-type Pokemon in the game, TechnoTrainer also linked a video version of the map in the comments. Although many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans were happy to now have an easy way to find all of the elusive Wild Tera-type Pokemon, other comments expressed disappointment that Game Freak hadn’t included a way for players to place their own markers on the in-game map.

For those players who make it their goal to unlock every last Pokemon in each new game, this quick and convenient reference guide is sure to make that quest just a bit easier. Maybe for their next contribution to the game’s community, TechnoTrainer could make a map to guide players through the sometimes-confusing dialogue choices in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
