A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player discovered a bug where a Florges looked like a biblically accurate angel. Players have reported many glitches since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launched in November, which ranged from hilarious to game-breaking.

After many complaints about performance issues, Nintendo rolled out Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update 1.1.0 on December 1. Although some players claimed that the games ran more smoothly, others said that not a lot was changed despite not sharing specific information. But based on the continuing reports on bugs, it seems like the patch wasn't able to fix everything.

Over on Reddit, player MixelKing shared a photo of a "Biblically Accurate Florges," which showed the flower-like Pokemon with extra heads. Florges is a Fairy-type Pokemon from Generation 6, whose petals come in different colors like red, yellow, and orange. It seemed like the bug MixelKing encountered showed multiple red Florgeses stacked on top of each other to create the biblically accurate creature.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players found the photo funny, and started quoting the Bible, like "Be not afraid" and "I shall spare your life." One likened it to surrealism art, while another said the photo unlocked a new phobia. This also isn't the first time a glitch created something horrifying in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as players once reported seeing a scary image after zooming into their character's photo. Others also encountered a bug that gave their characters a freakishly long body, which was likened to the titans in Attack on Titan.

Despite their performance issues, players still seem to be enjoying the new Pokemon games. In fact, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet reached record-breaking sales figures despite reports of players asking for refunds, and the Generation 9 Pokemon have quickly captured the hearts of fans. With the games' success, players are still hopeful that Nintendo and Game Freak will continue patching Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to make the overall experience more optimal.

The hype for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet won't stop there with the announcement of the new anime. With the departure of Ash and Pikachu from the series, Pokemon fans will not only be introduced to the Gen 9 monsters, but also two new protagonists. The girl, whose starter is the Grass-type Pokemon Sprigatito, is believed to be Ash's daughter. It will be interesting to see how fans will receive the anime, and if it would contribute to more sales of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

PokemonScarlet and Violet are available now on Nintendo Switch.
