A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player shared the result of an incredible effort by revealing their Gholdengo team. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have over 100 new Pokemon that players can capture and assemble their team. As with every generation, these new Pokemon got players talking for different reasons.

Among the new Pokemon featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the little Gimmighoul, a creature that looks like it came out of an adventure game like Banjo Kazooie. The Ghost-type Pokemon has two forms: the Chest Form and the Roaming Form, although, in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, only the first form can be captured. When the player gets a Gimmighoul, it is possible to evolve the Pokemon into the Steel/Ghost-type Gholdengo. The process of getting a Gholdengo is not impossible, but it requires a lot of patience and effort on the player's part.

Reddit user Ayelynn_ shared a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet screenshot showing their Gholdengo team. The six Pokemon appear relaxing with the trainer at a picnic, with the publication reading: "It is done. All six accounted for!." To get a single Gholdengo, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player must collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins and evolve a Gimmighoul, which is already an impressive amount. Since Ayelynn_ has evolved six Gholdengo, that means the trainer has collected 5,994 Gimmighoul Coins to assemble this incredible team.

Ayelynn_'s post on the Pokemon subreddit attracted hundreds of upvotes and comments debating the player's Herculean task. One of the comments made a funny suggestion for being even more extreme: that Ayelynn_ now fills a box with Gholdengo. Another Redditor congratulated Ayelynn_'s patience, as they commented that they already considered it a huge task to evolve their two Gholdengo. A third comment pointed out that evolving a Gimmighoul is now a little easier thanks to the Pokemon GO and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet connectivity announced last month.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have increased the list of Pokemon with fun appearances by creating creatures like Gimmighoul. Even Gholdengo can be included in the list because of its Ben 10-esque look. It is a special experience to have a single Gholdengo on the team because of its unique evolution method. In this way, Ayelynn_'s idea becomes even more impressive. It also proves that the creativity of Pokemon players is indeed immense, with the community often coming up with new ideas to spice up the gaming experience.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
