It has been nearly a month since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were announced at the end of the most recent Pokemon Presents, which showed off Gen 9's starters: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. A lot of artistic fans have created beautiful artwork of the three starter Pokemon, with one making them out of clay.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the next two games in the franchise which will release on Switch at the end of the year. Ever since the trailer for these upcoming titles was shown, a lot of fans have been excited to choose between Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly as their starter Pokemon. Sprigatito is a Grass type Pokemon that resembles a cat, Fuecoco is a Fire type Pokemon that takes inspiration from a crocodile, and Quaxly is a Water type Pokemon that looks like a duck. While there has usually been a starter Pokemon that the majority of fans liked more than the others in each Generation, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly have all received a lot more praise, as many players have mentioned that choosing between the three will be a tough decision to make.

There are a lot of talented artists that are Pokemon fans, and some have used their skills to recreate Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Whether it be by showing them in a unique and unexpected way or creating their own designs for what they think the final evolutions of the starter Pokemon will look like, a lot of Pokemon fans have enjoyed seeing what these artists have worked on while they wait for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to release. A Reddit user, cherrycos, showed what the three of them would look like if they were made out of clay.

All three clay creations look just like the image of the starter Pokemon that was shown at the end of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's trailer. Those that have seen the post of the clay Pokemon have commented to let cherrycos know how cute Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito are as clay. Other figures of Pokemon, such as Pikachu, can be seen in the background, facing Quaxly, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco's direction, as if they are looking at the new starters.

As the months pass leading up to the releases of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans will surely make a lot more adorable creations inspired by Gen 9's starter Pokemon and post them online for others to enjoy. It will be great to see the new starters in other interesting ways, just like these skillfully made clay models.
