With days left until the release of The Indigo Disk DLC, a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan shared their revision of what Paradox Entei could look like. The fan noted the changes they made to their Paradox Entei design after some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players offered feedback on the first iteration, and explained their thoughts behind the process.

Known as the Volcano Pokemon, Entei is a Fire-type Legendary Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silver. Alongside its counterparts Raikou and Suicune, Entei is part of a trio colloquially known as the legendary beasts of the Johto region. As a pure Fire-type Pokemon, Entei is considered a strong physical attacker and can use moves such as Fire Fang, Crunch, and Giga Impact to tear into most foes. While Suicune received a Paradox form called Walking Wake, and Raikou is confirmed to have one called Raging Bolt in The Indigo Disk, Entei is the only one of the trio to not have an official Past Paradox form at the time of writing. Until The Pokemon Company fills that gap, Pokemon fans have taken it upon themselves to design what a Paradox Entei could look like.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fans Think Shiny Eeveelution Looks Sick

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans have strong opinions about one Shiny Eeveelution's design, describing its appearance as sickly.

Following feedback from their first iteration of Paradox Entei, one Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan artist gave the Volcano Pokemon a second look. A Redditor named PhatmonMonstraros showed off their second version of Paradox Entei on the r/pokemon subreddit and provided a brief explanation behind the changes. As was the case with their first design, the OP called Paradox Entei "Burning Brute" to match Pokemon Scarlet's naming conventions. According to the OP, their version of Paradox Entei is a Fire and Dragon dual-type to match the Dragon-type of Walking Wake and Raging Bolt. Their design was based on a spinosaurus and a triceratops.

While the first version of Burning Brute had elaborate designs, the OP kept Paradox Entei's face mostly the same as the original in this revision. They added a triceratops collar and horns to Entei's neck, and the spinosaurus' influence was prominent throughout Paradox Entei's spine and upper body. In response, other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players stated the reasons why they liked both versions of Paradox Entei from the artist. While Paradox Entei has yet to be officially confirmed by The Pokemon Company, the original Entei will be among the 25 classic Legendary Pokemon returning in The Indigo Disk.

Until Entei joins Suicune and Raikou on the list of legendary Paradox Pokemon, Pokemon fan artists such as PhatmonMonstraros will continue to fill the gap. It remains to be seen if and when Paradox Entei will make its official appearance in the series.
