A Pokemon fan on Reddit has recently shared their recreation of all of Eevee's first generation evolutions, which they have made out of paper.

The user pokemonnnn93 posted their Pokemon creation, which consisted of beautiful origami art for the Pokemon Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, respectively. The paper creations each look strikingly accurate to the three Kanto region Pokemon, and is currently receiving plenty of praise from fellow Reddit users. It's a wonder whether they will end up recreating the rest of Eevee's evolutions next, with Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon, and Eevee itself, still remaining. The art pieces can be seen here.

Eevee has undoubtedly become one of the most popular Pokemon in the long-running franchise, with it even making it onto the box art with 2018's title Pokemon: Let's Go! Eevee.  Eevee even got a Gigantamax form in the recently released Pokemon Sword and Shield, which released last year.

The Pokemon has slowly grown in popularity through the years, though not quite soaring to the heights of the series mascot Pikachu. It may be close though, as Eevee has shown up in pop culture outside of the series, with it even getting its own Build-a-Bear stuffed animal a few years ago.

The Pokemon has received plenty of fan love through the years, with gamers making mock-up recreations of what the Pokemon would look like with different evolutions, such as a fighting-type Eevee, a ghost-type Eevee, and a poison-type Eevee. Many fans believed that the eighth generation was the perfect time to premiere a new Eeveelution, as the Pokemon has typically been given new evolutions every two generations of games, like Espeon and Umbreon in Pokemon Gold and Silver, Glaceon and Leafeon in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and Sylveon in Pokemon X and Y.

So naturally, Pokemon Sword and Shield would have seemed like the perfect time for a new addition to Eevee's long list of existing evolutions. It's never too late, however, as the 8th generation is continuing to receive new updates, with the second half of the DLC Expansion Pass set to release later this fall. The first expansion added tons of new Pokemon and some new regional variants of existing ones, so fans could potentially see a new Eeveelution.

But for now, fans are still able to enjoy and appreciate all of the great art that fans have been making for the beloved Pokemon, and expect more to come out in the future given the sheer amount of people that adore the cute little Pocket Monster.
