Nintendo crammed a lot of announcements into its digital presentation on day one of E3 2014 and previously announced games like Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire didn't exactly get a ton of screen time. With announcements for games like Zelda, Kirby, and Captain Toad to compete with; it makes sense that the upcoming 3DS title only made a brief appearance on stage. Not to worry though Pokémon fans, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo followed the presentation up with two new trailers for the upcoming remakes.

The first trailer focuses on the 'all-new' Hoenn adventure. Players will return to the iconic region and run into many of the same sights and Pokémon along the way, but this time around it will be through the lens of the new and enhanced 3DS Pokémon experience.

As expected, a big emphasis is being placed on the Mega Evolution mechanic introduced in the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games. Earlier this week, sources from a Japanese magazine revealed that Sceptile, Swampert, and Diancie would all receive the Mega Evolution opportunity. The new trailer makes the Mega Evolution official for Sceptile, Swampert, and Blaziken.

Blaziken, who wasn't mentioned in the previous rumors, will gain new abilities and an increase to Attack through the Mega. A new batch of screen shoots shows off the new Mega Evolutions and some of the other highlights of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire...

The trailer and screenshots remind old players, or educates new ones, on the Ruby and Sapphire starting options. Players have the chance to select Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip as their starting companion. Trainers also must decide if they want to travel the region on a Mach Bike (good for speeds and steep slopes) or on a Acro Bike (designed for going up stepping stones or crossing narrow bridges).

The screenshots showcase the worlds of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which each offer players an exciting challenge against a different evil group. As was hinted earlier this week, one of the new spins on the classic games will be exploring the connection between Primal Reversion and Mega Evolution.

In addition to the gameplay trailer and the new pile of screenshots and art, The Nintendo Company also released a second trailer that gives fans a closer look at Sableye's Mega Evolution...

The Hoenn region native Dark-Ghost type Pokémon will receive the Mega Evolution option for the first time in the upcoming game. Sableye channels all of its energy from the Mega Evolution into the jewel on its chest, which gives the bling some new abilities. After the Mega Evolution is complete, the jewel will detach from Sableye's body and become a powerful shield. Once hidden behind the jewel wall, Sableye will be able to exploit opponent's weaknesses and strike at vulnerable openings.

Are you excited to revisit the Hoenn region or what you have preferred to see the next chapter in the world of last year's Pokémon X and Pokémon Y? Let us know in the comments.
