One talented Pokemon fan has decided to create an impressive picture reimagining Noivern as a Paradox Pokemon. With the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans were introduced to a number of new pocket monsters called Paradox Pokemon. While the Gen 9 games include a variety of Paradox Pokemon, that has not stopped gamers from making their own Paradox forms of existing creatures, such as Noivern.

Introduced in Gen 6, Noivern is a Flying/Dragon-type Pokemon. As its typing suggests, this pocket monster has a set of large wings with a design that looks somewhat like a bat. In addition, it evolves from Noibat, another Flying-Dragon-type. While Noivern already has a memorable design, as seen in the Pokemon franchise, one gamer set out to make an even more stunning version of the creature.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as shunixe shared their Paradox form of Noivern. This new Paradox form leaned heavily into the Flying/Dragon typing of the original Pokemon, accentuating its dragon-like characteristics. It maintained its black and purple wings but had much larger legs than the regular creature. In addition, the mane was enlarged on the Paradox form and included tufts of grayish fur near its claws. Based on the overall design, this creature would likely fit in as one of the Ancient Pokemon if it was included in Pokemon Scarlet.

Based on the popularity of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it should not come as a surprise that this Paradox form of Noivern has caught the attention of the numerous members of the Pokemon community on Reddit. The post already has over 3.4K upvotes, with many complimenting the artist on the unique creation. Among the comments, a number of users thought the design looked reminiscent of Narcacuga, a Flying Wyvern from the Monster Hunter series.

In addition, it is worth noting that this is not the only Pokemon artwork created by shunixe. In fact, the artist has been prolific in their output of fan art recently, making several crossover designs between the Pokemon and Monster Hunter series. A couple of examples of their other work include a fusion of a Brute Wyvern and Walking Wake and a mecha version of Mewtwo.

Besides this impressive Noivern, other fans have been creating fan art reimagining existing pocket monsters as Paradox Pokemon. For example, one gamer made a Paradox form for Hatterene, giving the Pokemon a futuristic appearance. As Game Freak continues to add new Pokemon to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it will be interesting to see what other creations are made by talented artists, such as shunixe, in the weeks ahead.
