Highlights

  • Exeggutor gets a powerful new evolution called Exeggutive with three necks and a hydra-like appearance.
  • Alolan Exeggutor inspired the fan art, featuring a stronger and bigger version with new abilities.
  • Pokemon fans often create unique evolutions for their favorite monsters, showcasing creativity in fan art.

A Pokemon fan has recently devised a new evolution for Exeggutor, imagining what a more powerful version of the Grass/Psychic-type creature would look like. Pokemon fans often reimagine their favorite monsters and produce amazing Pokemon fan art, and this is among the best pieces to come out recently.

Exeggutor first appeared in the classic Pokemon Green, Red, and Blue. This Gen 1 monster evolves from Exeggcute when exposed to a Leaf Stone, and looks like a palm tree. Starting with Pokemon Sun and Moon, Exeggutor received a new regional variant form, the Alolan Exeggutor, which is a Grass/Dragon-type Pokemon with a very long neck.

Pokemon Fan Designs Past Paradox Form for Sableye

A creative Pokemon fan turns Sableye into a past Paradox Pokemon, drawing an amazing new form for this Dark/Ghost-type creature.

Now, a Pokemon fan called Kampy5567 devised a new evolution for Exeggutor called “Exeggutive, the King of the Tropics.” This fan art is greatly inspired by the Alolan version of Exeggutive, as can be seen by its long necks. However, instead of having a single neck, the creature differs from the Alolan version by having three of them, one for each head, resembling a sort of hydra. The new version also has a prolonged tail, and it looks bigger and stronger than a normal Exeggutor. The fan art comes with a shiny version, which is yellow and brown instead of green, as well as detailed stats for the creature. For example, the creator explains that Exeggutive comes with two new abilities, one called Psychosynthesis, and a special move called Solar Barrage.

New Exeggutor Evolution Pokemon Fan Art

While Exeggutor may not be as popular as some other creatures like Pikachu, fans have created interesting homages to it. For instance, a Pokemon fan made an Exeggutor using Bionicle toys some time ago, which was a unique take on the creature, as it looked like an Exeggutor made of steel.

Fan art imagining alternative evolutions for Pokemon is quite a common trend in the franchise’s community. For instance, a Pokemon fan devised a new evolution for Cacturne a few months ago. The result was Cactinger, a Grass/Dark-type cactus-inspired gunslinger creature.

Another good example of alternative Pokemon evolutions can be seen in an earlier piece that featured an incredible Arbok evolution. In this piece, a fan designed a new creature called Agan, which is essentially a more ferocious, bigger version of Arbok that was full of yellow spikes. Hopefully, members of the Pokemon community will continue to create amazing fan art featuring interesting evolutions of different Pokemon.
