Fans of Pokemon Masters EX have reason for excitement, as a new trailer just revealed an upcoming character. Leon and his faithful Charizard are taking the mobile game by storm and are sure to provide a huge power boost to anyone that gets the character. Leon comes from the most recent game, Pokemon Sword and Shield, and those that are familiar with his backstory are surely excited to see him added.

For those that don't know, Leon is the Champion in Pokemon Sword and Shield, and it is said that he and his Charizard have never lost a battle. Canonically speaking, the player's character in that game is the only trainer to ever best him, though he does ultimately lose in his struggle against Eternatus. It will be interesting to see how he performs in Pokemon Masters EX.

Leon and Charizard will be available on Febuary 25th at 10 PM PST and will remain until March 17th at 10:59 PDT. Of note, his Charizard spends most of its time in its Gigantamax form in the game, so it's unclear whether or not it will do the same in Pokemon Masters EX. It wasn't shown in his reveal trailer, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

Alongside Leon and Charizard, players can also get Marnie and Morpeko, and it seems that more Galar region Sync Pairs will be coming in the near future. See the video above for more details about Leon and Charizard, including his passive skill that powers up the entire team by granting more powerful moves and better damage reduction.

Pokemon Masters EX is available on Mobile.
