Recently a Reddit user known as Eyemcantoeknees posted one of his impressive LEGO creations on r/pokemon, a Reddit board completely devoted to Pokemon, as the name implies. This LEGO creation happens to be a recreation of the legendary Pokemon, Regigigas.

Regigigas is a legendary Pokemon introduced in the fourth generation of Pokemon and is the creator of the Pokemon known as the Legendary Titans. These Pokemon include Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Regieleki, and Regidrago.

As can be seen in the photo of Regigigas taken by Eyemcantoeknees, the end result is around 9-10 inches tall. This is further clarified in their comments below as well. They additionally specified that the MOC, or "My Own Creation" in LEGO builder terms", is made of 1111 pieces in total.

This of course isn't Eyemcantoeknees's first time recreating a Pokemon out of LEGO bricks. Looking through their Reddit account shows that they've also recreated Dragonair, Jirachi, Torterra, Ampharos, Bewear, and Garchomp among others. Two of these Pokemon have videos on the process of creating them under Eyemcantoeknees's YouTube channel, Brick Mill. These videos additionally include a part list for the creations shown, so others can attempt to recreate these Pokemon as well.

Watching these videos shows the meticulous work that goes into creating these Pokemon. Every part is created and constructed separately before finally coming together to make a complete Pokemon. Of course, the videos don't show the amount of planning required to make sure that the Pokemon looks as good as it does when it's completed.

There currently isn't a video uploaded on the Brick Mill channel on the creation of Regigigas. However, considering its size and the sheer number of pieces required to build, it would likely be a much longer video than the others on the channel. Due to the sheer scope of this project however, a video on Regigigas's creation does seem likely.

The works of Pokemon fan artists continue to prove to be very impressive. Other examples of neat Pokemon fanart that expand past 2D art include a 3D recreation of a Pokemon card that depicts Shuckle.

There aren't many official Pokemon LEGO sets available for purchase, but the success of the Super Mario LEGO set might result in other Nintendo properties getting special LEGO sets as well down the line. Until then, fan creators such as Eyemcantoeknees will continue to create impressive MOC after MOC depicting their favorite Pokemon.
